Official trailer for 'The Life of Chuck' released today
New film from Mike Flanagan, based on the short story by Stephen King opens in theaters June 6 on the depths of an ordinary life
LOS ANGELES — From acclaimed filmmaker Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Doctor Sleep) and based on the short story by legendary author Stephen King, comes the official trailer for The Life of Chuck—an emotionally rich film arriving in theaters in select cities beginning June 6th.
The Life of Chuck is the extraordinary story of an ordinary man. This unforgettable, genre-bending tale celebrates the life of Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us.
Starring Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave), Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy), Jacob Tremblay (Room), and Mark Hamill (Star Wars), The Life of Chuck is intimate in scope but epic in emotional resonance, celebrating the wonder of everyday life and the unseen impact one individual can have on the world.
The film is directed and written by Mike Flanagan and marks one of the most unexpected and soulful adaptations of King’s work to date.
The Life of Chuck echoes the emotional resonance of The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile, two other beloved King stories that examine the depth of the human experience.
