Fetzer Institute CEO, Bob Boisture, retires
KALAMAZOO, Mich. — After 12 years of service, Bob Boisture, President and CEO of the Fetzer Institute, plans to retire on June 30, 2025. Bob will continue to serve as a member of the Institute’s Board of Trustees.
Under Boisture’s leadership and building on John Fetzer’s founding vision, the Institute adopted its current Mission Statement of helping build the spiritual foundation for a loving world and developed a bold strategy to help accelerate the emergence of a global spiritual awakening. In support of this strategy, the Institute has significantly expanded and reorganized its staff, established offices in New York and Los Angeles, in addition to its Michigan headquarters, and dramatically increased its engagement with global faith communities.
The Chair of the Institute’s board, Dan Cardinali, expressed deep gratitude for Mr. Boisture’s years of dedicated leadership. “Bob brought an unwavering commitment to the Sacred. His deep faith, strategic vision, and unfailing belief in the power of Love to overcome division and fear have deepened our community, energized our work, attracted an incomparable senior leadership team, and brought us into partnership with an extraordinary network of individuals and organizations. Our Board’s top priority in this transition is to maintain and build on the momentum and strategic direction we have achieved under Bob’s leadership.”
Boisture remarked, “It has been an incredible privilege to serve the Fetzer community. Our Guiding Purpose is to awaken into and serve Spirit for the transformation of self and society. There is no more important work than this, and I have been blessed to do it with friends and colleagues whom I will treasure always. I look forward to continuing to be part of this extraordinary community through serving on the Board of Trustees.”
